There is a national, local and regional crisis in health care that affects us all. The lack of accessibility to affordable prescription drugs and excellent health and urgent care is so serious, State Insurance Commissioner John Garamendi recently issued a report entitled “Priced Out” which details the nature of our health care crisis and how it affects access to quality health care for thousands of men, women and children in California. The Insurance Commissioner’s report states that we are well on our way to having an inequitable health care system where many families will be consigned to being “priced out” of our health care system. As the CEO of Tri-City Medical Center, I am unwilling to wait for the federal or state governments to get around to improving our health care system. I believe it is up to local communities, hospitals, and health care providers to create local solutions that ensure access to quality, affordable health care for our families and future generations.Tri-City Medical Center Address
