For more than 40 years, the Beatitudes Campus has been offering many residential living options including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Support - a continuum of care. We strive to recognize and nourish the spiritual, physical, social, and emotional needs of our residents. Our community is a proponent of successful aging, which encompasses several different facets of health and well-being. We created the Beatitudes Campus Model - the Seven Dimensions of Wellness - addressing intellectual, spiritual, physical, emotional, social, occupational/vocational and financial needs of older adults. Today more than 600 residents, diverse in backgrounds and beliefs, call the Campus home and hundreds more are served through rehabilitation services and wellness programs. Our community continues a comprehensive redevelopment plan to meet the ever-growing needs of who we serve. Ultimately, our expansion project with increase our capacity to serve approximately 900 residents. The Town Plaza is the heart of the expansion project. The 18,000-square-foot space, is the new hub of the Campus and offers a library and computer stations, gift shop, M & I Bank location, salon, swimming pool, recreation space, wellness center, Corner Perk coffee shop and two dining venues; Elaine's Fine Dining and the Plaza Bistro. It also features outdoor seating, new landscaping, and a southwestern mural by artist, Ed Mell. Other elements of the redevelopment include new construction of the Central Park and Courtyard apartments, and patio homes totaling 325 new independent living residences. Refurbishments and upgrades to current buildings, and re-landscaping of some of the current 22-acre site are also part of the overall redevelopment plan expected to be complete in 2011. The Campus is sponsored by the Church of the Beatitudes, a United Church of Christ congregation. Church of the Beatitudes also founded the following related nonprofit organizations: Beatitudes AgeLink, an intergenerational child development center, and Beatitudes Center DOAR, a Valley-wide, interfaith organization that assists homebound adults, caregivers, grandparents raising grandchildren and congregational health programs.
