HVTC is one of Australia's oldest Group Training Organisation and has provided employment and training opportunities to more than 25,000 apprentices and trainees since 1981. Operating as a non-profit organisation with its Head Office based near Newcastle, regional branches are located across NSW in the Hunter, Sydney, Illawarra, Northern Rivers, North Coast, Mid Coast, North West, Shoalhaven and Southern Tablelands. HVTC works closely with business and industry to provide specialised and flexible delivery of total workforce solutions including recruiting and managing quality apprentices and trainees, psychometric testing, short or long term labour hire, workforce management and safety inspections, audits and management. As an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) provider, HVTC is a one-stop-shop for apprentices and employers with staff who can job match, recommend best training options, facilitate personalised mentoring to at-risk students and handle all paper work associated with employer incentives and Trade Support Loans. Through its Registered Training Organisation, Hunter-V-Tec, HVTC offers customised training in trade, post-trade, business, upskilling courses and short courses for job seekers. Hunter-V-Tec can cater for traditional, blended and online learning, customised to suit all business training requirements. HVTC strives to provide a better future for all by linking potential with opportunity and believes skills change lives. The company's national, state and regional award winning apprentices and trainees are job ready and experience much higher completion rates than the industry average.
