IBTX’s insurance roots go as far back as 1946. Through different strategic plans, we grew to be one of the largest independently owned agencies in the state of Texas. In 1997, we combined insurance and bonding agencies together to create Insurance & Bonds, Inc. In March 2005, Cadenhead Shreffler Insurance (CSI) merged with Insurance and Bonds, Inc. This strategic decision was made to combine the resources of two successful organizations in order to bring greater value to the clients of each agency.
