The Janus School is an independent day school located on a 40-acre campus in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, teaching students grades K-12+. We utilize research- and neurologically-based practices to help our students achieve their academic and personal goals.
Our passion is changing lives and our goal is to help students with learning differences unlock their potential. Each time a new student walks through The Janus School's doors, we attend to his or her unique learning needs. Your child can make a fresh start at a school where, at last, teachers fully understand and attend to their needs with a personalized, individual program.
At Janus, we understand that the transition from twelfth grade to life is one of the most stressful times in the lives of young adults. If the teenager also has a Learning Difference, Executive Function Disorder or Autism Spectrum Disorder, the transition is often overwhelming and full of anxiety and procrastination.
Our Transitions at Janus program eases the bridge between high school and adulthood for these young adults and their families. Experiential education is central to the day-to-day schedule as young adults explore not just vocational tracks and creative problem solving, but who they are outside a classroom as a student of life.
