The Town of Falmouth is located on the southwest shoulder of Cape Cod and is composed of eight villages: Falmouth, East Falmouth, West Falmouth, Hatchville, North Falmouth, Teaticket, Waquoit, and Woods Hole.
Falmouth is a hospitality-based community with a year round population of 32,000 residents.
The Steamship Authority, Wood Hole Oceanographic Institution, Marine Biological Laboratories, Falmouth Hospital and the Town of Falmouth itself are major employers in the town.
More than fifty percent of the students' parents are employed in professional occupations.
Welcome to the Falmouth Public Schools where our Mission is to educate students so that they are engaged in their education in a way which develops their capacity to pursue their goals and fosters life-long learning. We are dedicated to improving our instruction, leadership, operations and finance so all students are engaged in their education in a way that develops their capacity to pursue their goals and fosters life-long learning.
"It takes a village" is fundamental to the success of our students and schools. We welcome parental and volunteer participation in our schools and strong partnerships with our community. The Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) program continues to support our schools in so many beneficial ways. We encourage anyone who would like to volunteer to work with the VIPS office.
We are always interested in your input and feedback. Feel free to contact the Principal of your student's school or the Administration Building.
