Established in 1919, our Chamber was created to serve our members as we strive to be the voice of business. We take action to support business and provide opportunities for members to strengthen their business and the community. Independent of local government and subsidies, the Chamber’s Board of Directors, staff, and a network of committees work together to create policy and plan events and programs to benefit its membership. All of the arms of the Chamber carry out their duties in an attempt to fulfill the organization’s vision and the needs of the membership.
Our pro-business strategy includes professional development and educational programs, networking events, and representation in the media and with government leaders. In order to serve the membership, we recognize that their active participation is crucial to furthering their success, and our services and products are planned and promoted in such a way to encourage this participatory relationship.
