A restaurant-style Spoken Menu allowing you to choose your meals with the assistance of a dietary aide. Optional visits from trained pet therapy dogs. Visits from trained therapy clowns if you like. Fresh bread baking on some nursing units. A welcoming environment for you, your family and friends. For the comfort of out-patients or visitors we provide: Vibrating pagers for surgery patients' family and Radiology and Lab outpatients so you are free to move about the hospital and grounds. A Courtyard Café where a professional chef oversees the preparation of meals and even does catering for events around town. Vending machines near Radiology (on the second ,oor) and near the Gift Shop (just off the front lobby area) can be accessed around the clock. There is a Children's Play Area in the Radiology/Lab Check-In Lounge and an aquarium in the Besse Forward Outpatient Registration Lounge.
