ST. MAXIMILIAN KOLBE St. Maximilian Kolbe, the namesake of the Kolbe Academy, was a remarkable witness to the saving power and urgency of the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. Our logo has direct roots in the life and legacy of this great saint. THE TWO CROWNS At the age of ten, Kolbe had a vision of Mary in which she gifted him two crowns—one red to represent martyrdom, the other white to represent celibacy. Our logo depicts these crowns surrounding a cross to represent our emulation of Kolbe's commitment to placing Christ at the very center of our life and work. CLASSICAL AND CONTEMPORARY Kolbe Academy, like our namesake, is rooted in tradition and relevant to the world today. We seek to harness the power of technology to offer a truly Catholic, classical, and flexible education.
