kSARIA was founded in July 2000 specifically to tackle the manufacturing challenges in fiber-optic component assembly. kSARIA has launched the first two in a family of standardized modular platforms that will fully automate the assembly of optical components and modules including fiber prep, fusing splicing and attachment. kSARIA's first system, the Prima Fiber Pigtail Fabrication System, is in full scale production. kSARIA's second system, the Presta Fiber Prep and Fusion Splicing System, was previewed this fall and will be in production in the first quarter of 2002.
