Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center serves a culturally diverse patient population and is located east of downtown Kansas City, MO in the historic Northeast district. Our Health Center provides access to healthcare for all who seek care, including neighborhood residents, people living in nearby public housing developments and immigrants seeking political asylum from war-torn nations. Long-term access to healthcare services is a primary focus for Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center. Our goal is to expand preventive healthcare services to positively improve the health of community residents and to help detect disease earlier. Providing healthcare for new immigrants and refugees is an important part of our promise to keep the communities we serve healthy. In addition, the Health Center addresses diseases found disproportionately in low income and minority populations and offers healthcare services and programs for cardiovascular disease, diabetes and cancer. Our staff guides a patient through a process, so he/she learns how to manage his/her disease and avoid life-threatening complications.
