What Is An ALSO Advocate –
Advocates are employees of ALSO and Direct Support Professionals (DSP). At ALSO Advocates undergo extensive person-centered training to better empower and equip people receiving supports to lead independent, meaningful full lives in the community of their choosing.
How We Work –
We believe in advocating for and supporting people and their families through the many phases of their lives Helping transition from the school years to adulthood through aging in place. Each phase presents a different set of opportunities to advocate for choice, involvement, independence, and self-determination. ALSO’s team of highly skilled Advocates work in partnership with those they support to establish and achieve personal goals, dreams, and aspirations.
