Based in the Pacific Northwest, American Power Systems is one of the faster growing businesses in the West. We entered the DC Power market in the fall of 1994, as a distributor of valve-regulated batteries (VRLA) for the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) industry. However, batteries are just a small part of the complete DC power System. Reacting quickly to Customer demands, we began supplying DC power systems as well as batteries. With the rapid expansion of the telecommunications market, American Power System¹s distribution capabilities lead us into the support of Telecom Customers. We also offer large VRLA batteries from several manufacturers. As the industry continued to grow we recognized our Customers wanted complete DC power answers to their needs, not just products. American Power Systems responded by providing complete DC power Solutions that included Products and full life system Services along with Battery distribution.
