About
Founded in 1964, High Plains Mental Health Center has been serving the residents of Northwest Kansas with mental health services for more than five decades. High Plains, a licensed community mental health center, is dedicated to an aggressive pursuit of providing a comprehensive mental health program to the residents of Northwest Kansas. Embodied in this pursuit are fundamental principles of establishing quality services as close to home as possible, at an affordable fee and delivered in the least disruptive manner available. Such services will offer a continuum of care so treatment can be individualized. Staff will respond quickly and compassionately to those reaching out to us. If you live within our 20-county service area, we’re here for you. In addition to our offices in Hays, there are five full-time Branch Offices located in Colby, Goodland, Norton, Osborne and Phillipsburg. Services are available on a regular basis in Wallace, Rawlins, Logan, Decatur, Gove, Norton, Graham, Trego, Ness, Rooks, Rush, Smith and Russell counties.
