Wolfgang Confections was founded in 1921 by Delphi Eli and Mima Mae Wolfgang as The D. E. Wolfgang Candy Company. In the beginning, operations were run out of the Wolfgang family home in York, PA, as the family sold chocolates at local farmers markets around York, Lancaster, and Harrisburg. Over time, the company grew and expanded, leading to the opening of a factory in downtown York, PA. Over the decades Wolfgang became known for its quality, delicious confections and its regionally recognized fundraising programs.
Today Wolfgang Confections includes an incubator facility at the site of the historic downtown York factory, as well as a state-of-the-art, 56,000 square feet commercial manufacturing facility in Loganville, PA. The company produces private label confections and snacks for many national retailers, works with specialty confection entrepreneurs to innovate new products, while also providing contract manufacturing services for large snack and confectionery companies throughout the Northeast. All our products are OU Kosher and SQF-3 certified.
