Now in its third-generation, Magnanni is a family-owned company that began in Almansa, Spain in 1954. The founder, Sebastián Blanco, started working in Spanish shoe factories at the age of 12 and at the age of 44 decided to open his own company. With just five employees, Sebastián began making shoes on the first floor of his home in Almansa. Sebastián's only child, Pascual Blanco, started his studies of shoe pattern and design at the age of 14 and at age 16 became head designer of the company.
