The Ohio Health Information Partnership is a non-profit entity whose mission is to assist physicians and other providers with the adoption and implement of health information technology (HIT) throughout Ohio. The Partnership created CliniSync - Ohio's statewide health information exchange - to electronically connect hospitals, physicians and others who care for patients through a secure network. Currently, 150 hospitals are contracted with 131 live on the network, connecting thousands of physicians, clinicians, long-term and post-acute care facilities, behavioral health, laboratories, pharmacists and others involved in patient care.
