4P FOODS brings high quality, fresh food from farm to table, improving economies, the environment, and the health of your family. We are a food hub and social enterprise serving the DC-area. Our mission is to increase year-round access to sustainable and locally produced food, to create a marketplace where farmers can thrive, and to improve food equity. Each week, we connect households, offices, and communities to wellness through direct deliveries of healthy food. We offer a selection of seasonal, organic produce, pastured meat, and grass-fed, hormone-free dairy from small-scale, local and regional farms. Our network is comprised of over 200 small, farms that meet our standards for food safety and that share our values for good food — meaning food that is sustainable, ethical, humane, and fair. At 4P FOODS, good food gives back. For every 10 bags we deliver, one bag of food is donated to a local food bank to feed those in need. Our local donation partners include Fauquier Food Bank, Local Food Bank Partners and YMCA Capital View. Together with the Metropolitan YMCA and Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy, we distribute subsidized organic food at a year-round CSA-style market in Ward 7. This initiative is part of our long-term strategy to provide geographic, cultural, and financial access to healthy food.
