About
The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is congressionally chartered to represent all aspects of nuclear history and science. It is an intriguing place to learn the story of the Atomic Age, from early conception, the Manhattan Project and Cold War, to today's peaceful uses of nuclear technology. The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is a place to learn, to imagine, to think and to draw your own conclusions. Whether visitors are interested in learning more about nuclear energy and nuclear medicine, or are more interested in seeing the nine-acre outdoor exhibit area that houses a B-29 Superfortress along with other aircraft, missiles, military vehicles and a nuclear submarine sail, there is something for everyone. At the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, it is our mission to chronicle the past, describe the present and imagine the future of nuclear science. The Museum is open daily - 361 days a year - from 9 am to 5 pm. It is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at 601 Eubank Blvd. SE. More information can be found at nuclearmuseum.org.
