Our Aim: Our aim is to meet the funding requirements of lending businesses as their loan books scale. We provide capital across both Senior and Mezzanine tranches and can move deeper into the capital structure as the receivable book grows. Seed: BCI has a long heritage of supporting companies/products with a limited track record and providing tailor-made facilities, structured to meet the borrower's growth trajectory. Growth: As the business scales, BCI can work with Senior debt providers. We have a good track record of successfully facilitating senior debt raisings alongside our Mezzanine funding. Stretch: We are able to solve inefficiencies within established lending companies' capital structures, enabling BCI to be relevant to companies with book sizes of £100m+. Our Capital: Established in 2011, the Fund's investor base is made up of High Net Worths and Small Family Offices who have an appetite for niche strategies. We are able to deliver attractive risk adjusted returns by diligently deploying capital where larger banks or Credit Funds struggle to operate due to size, banking idiosyncrasies or due to innovative non-standard products. We also work with a number of Co-Investment funding partners who allow us to provide larger facilities to our clients. Blenheim Chalcot: Through our links with Blenheim Chalcot, BCI has a unique connection to the UK's leading Venture Builder. Having built a number of successful lending businesses, we have been able to see firsthand what some of the capital challenges have been for these businesses as they scale and apply this knowledge into our wider portfolio.
