About
The journey began in 1985 when Tim P. McGill decided to branch off from his father’s painting business, Frank McGill Inc., to start McGill Restoration Inc. Masonry Restoration was the primary focus of the company, but Tim’s work ethic and philosophy of ’taking care of the customer’ helped move the company into other directions. Tim’s oldest son, Rich, joined the company in 1991 and in 1994 his middle son, Tim Jr., also became part of the family business. Rich and Tim helped to expand their father’s company by branching off into other types of restoration work in parking garages, stadiums, and bridges. In 2010, Tim Sr. stepped down as President, giving Rich and Tim equal ownership in McGill Restoration Inc. In 2014, a second McGill Restoration location was opened in Lincoln, NE. At the end of 2015, Tim Jr. purchased his brother Rich's portion of the business and today is the President/CEO of McGill Restoration Inc. Tim’s leadership and vision has moved the company into focusing on four defined areas of restoration and repair in the construction industry: Parking Garage & Stadiums, Bridge & Infrastructure, Industrial, and Masonry Restoration. Today, McGill Restoration continues to grow annually at a record pace. In 2015, McGill Restoration was recognized as the #3838 fastest growing (privately owned) business in the U.S. as well as the #15 fastest growing company in Nebraska. In 2016, the company reached almost $15 million in annual revenues, doubling the company’s annual revenues since 2012. McGill Restoration has worked for many of Nebraska’s most notable companies: Mutual of Omaha, Nebraska Medicine, Woodmen of the World, Creighton University, US Bank, First National Bank, CHI Health, Bryan Health, and the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and Omaha campuses. Our footprint and services have extended outside of the state of Nebraska and continues to grow geographically with projects and clients located throughout the Midwest. McGill Restoration still values the same philosophy and principles that started the company, and believes strongly in their mission statement of “Building relationships through craftsmanship” as the anthem that will continue marching strongly into the future for years to come.
