Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC) responds to community needs by delivering holistic, family-centered, and culturally competent programs. BCNC is the largest nonprofit social service provider dedicated to the Asian American and Asian immigrant families in the Greater Boston area, supporting over 3,000 children, youth, and adults each year at four locations in Boston and Quincy. The mission of BCNC is to ensure that the children, youth, and families we serve have the resources and supports they need to achieve greater economic success and social well-being.
BCNC believes that families have enormous potential to thrive, and when immigrants are able to participate fully in society and create their own success stories, all of society benefits. BCNC's vision is that: families and individuals are healthy, safe, and self-sufficient; children have opportunities for school success; and neighborhoods are strong and cohesive.
BCNC provides families Access, Opportunity, and Community: BCNC helps families access the resources and services available to them, provides opportunities for them to learn and acquire skills, and creates a community of mutual support and encouragement. BCNC programs exist within 3 departments: Child Care & Enrichment Programs, Education & Workforce Initiatives, and Family & Community Engagement.
