Bandera Electric Cooperative is a not-for-profit, member-owned cooperative that proudly distributes electricity to more than 25,000 members and more than 34,000 meters across seven counties in the Texas Hill Country.\n\nBEC is continually searching for new and innovative ways to promote energy efficiency, improve the convenience and access that our members have to information, and provide energy alternatives for our members.\n\nMany new advances are taking place that include high-speed fiber optic internet to members within the service territory and availability to renewable energy. Most notably, BEC recently completed a large-scale 1.9 megawatt ground-mounted solar farm.
