The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington provides and facilitates access to free, compassionate, quality health care for children and adults who are otherwise unable to obtain such services. In addition to urgent medical and dental care, the Free Clinic provides preventive services, immunizations, diabetes and vision care, and coordination of specialty and oral health services in the community for uninsured patients.
The Free Clinic was founded in 1990. Dr. Sam Beall and Father Ed Rankin identified a need in the community to help those who were uninsured and could not afford even basic medical care. Today, the Free Clinic is the largest walk-in, urgent care free clinic in the state of Washington. The Free Clinic is a community-supported organization and does not receive Federal or State funds.
The Free Clinic uses an all-volunteer team of medical professionals to deliver high quality, compassionate health services. In 2018 alone we provided over 7,000 free medical and dental services to uninsured members of our community.
