Jatri, the first app-based smart bus ticketing and tracking platform in Bangladesh is dedicated to providing mobility solutions to commuters. Jatri's bus-based model encourages a shift away from private vehicle ownership to equitable, affordable, and accessible smart mobility solutions. It also showcases the role of the private sector in contributing to and transforming the way urban commuters travel. Using a dynamic fleet of buses, our solutions are harnessing the power of technology to change the face of Dhaka city. Started with an objective to solve the issues of urban mobility, Jatri provides ticketing services (on Trust Transport AC services). Apart from ticketing, Jatri offers bus tracking services too! By entering location and destination, a user can view a list of available buses on his route. Once a preferred bus is selected, Jatri shows its exact location and its estimated arrival time. The speed and distance between the bus and the user is also shown accurately. Jatri further enriches daily commute by sending notifications once the bus is nearing the user and once it reaches the user. It is a breath of fresh air in the usual scenario of long and congested queues. Jatri's mission is to take the pain away from everyone's commute and reduce congestion in cities.
