UCI is a nonprofit organization that relies on generous philanthropic contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations. UCI has been fortunate to receive funding for the programs we believe are an asset to the community that we serve. UCI works closely with donors to ensure their contributions reflect their organization's mission. Funding opportunities are available for the following programs: Annual Sustaining Fund UCI's role as the Circle's central development, service, and advocacy organization is to lead activities and initiatives that will help us achieve our vision, including , Working with our member institutions to make our district safe, clean, and attractive to our visitors by developing a shared service model that allows UCI and our partners to provide needed services efficiently and at the lowest possible cost , Developing Euclid Avenue as the gateway to the University Arts and Retail District with new retail and housing opportunities combined with unique streetscape amenities , Continuing, in partnership with our member institutions, to improve and expand our longstanding community outreach initiatives that include delivering educational programs that annually impact more than 20,000 Pre-K-12 Cleveland students and promoting the Circle to broader audiences through our collaborative marketing efforts and unique community events , Advocating for our member institutions within the district and neighborhoods within Greater University Circle, such as Glenville, Midtown, Fairfax, Hough, Garrett Square, Little Italy, and East Cleveland Community Education Programs The Department of Community Education has been coordinating programming for Cleveland Municipal School District students since 1973.
