Serving Knox County, Ohio, since 1965, Knox County Head Start is a non-profit agency offering early care and educational services to more than 400 low-income children and families annually. We provide comprehensive services beyond traditional classroom learning, focusing on school readiness and social-emotional growth; and also providing services for children's physical, dental, and mental health; and services to children with disabilities. We know that children learn best in safe, healthy, and loving environments, and our goal is to give all children a head start on the road to lifelong success. We offer: - Seven centers throughout Knox County in Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown, Gambier, and Mount Vernon. - Stimulating programs to fit your family's needs. - Parent trainings to develop your skills as an effective parent and as your child's first and most important teacher. - Family engagement and involvement opportunities.
