Three Star, an SBA 8(a) certified Alaska Native Corporation founded in 2003, is an award winning firm (2012 ACF Assistant Secretary’s Award) with expertise in management consulting, rural and virtual workforce management, distance delivery training, information technology and virtual workforce collaboration, as well as training and technical assistance center operation for state and federal agencies.
Three Star operates the Region 3 Training and Technical Assistance Center for the Administration for Native Americans (ANA), collaborating with the Pacific, Western, and Eastern TTA Centers to deliver a cohesive national technical assistance program for tribes and Native organizations throughout the US and its territories. Three Star assists the Administration for Children and Family’s (ACF) Low Income Housing and Energy Assistance Program’s (LIHEAP) by providing tribally focused technical assistance, serving tribal LIHEAP grantees throughout the US. Three star provides IT staffing to William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, TX, as well as administrative staffing at the United States Coast Guard Headquarters (Office of Offshore/Foreign Vessels, CG-CVC-2/4) and US Naval Hospitals in Okinawa and Yokosuka, Japan.
In 2014, Three Star formed a joint venture with Bristol Bay Native Corporation subsidiary MedPro Tech to form Three Star MedPro Tech JV, LLC, and is focused on providing health-related staffing and IT services internationally at US Military Treatment Facilities and bases.
Closer to home, Three Star has served both the State of Alaska and the Denali Commission, by facilitating the development of statewide certification standards for facility maintenance technicians, and addressing the training needs of Alaska’s remote villages. Three Star is also an authorized reseller for Google Apps and Smartsheet software applications.
