As part of the E.ON group, we're also one of the top energy companies in the world. We want to be a company people can trust and are always looking at ways to make energy cleaner. We're improving our gas, coal and oil-fired power stations and are producing more energy from renewable sources like wind and water. At the moment, we've got 21 wind farms, a dedicated biomass plant at Lockerbie and the first wave power generator in the UK. We're not stopping there though. We've got plans to produce a lot more renewable energy very soon — at least 1,500MW more. We've also built a number of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plants, which are much more efficient than traditional power plants. As well as making energy cleaner, we want to make it simpler. We've talked to customers to find out what they want and have introduced things like clear, single-sheet bills and fewer tariffs that are easier to understand.
