In 1958, brothers Morris and Alfred Sutton as well as Samuel Gindi, determined that the children's market would benefit from a strong, recognized childrenswear company at a time when there were relatively few. They launched LT Apparel with the mission to produce durable, well-styled clothing at a value price. Lollytogs, rebranded as LT Apparel Group in the 2000's, has distinguished itself through other competitive advantages. It is one of the only companies that produces a complete line of all categories for both girls and boys, including activewear, holiday wear, outerwear, playwear, school uniforms, and sportswear. LT Apparel Group is also one of the few childrenswear companies that develops, merchandises and markets branded clothing lines for all channels of distribution, from department stores to discount stores to specialty stores. Product marketed by LT Apparel Group is available at thousands of retail locations nationwide. As it has grown along with generations of America's children, LT Apparel has developed an unusual level of expertise in designing, merchandising, and selling highly successful lines of childrenswear. Today, LT Apparel's portfolio has grown to include adidas Kids and Carhartt for Kids in addition to French Toast.
