On the eve of its 100th year anniversary in 2005, the Turner Wood & Smith Insurance agency is returning to its traditional roots of locally based ownership. Four prominent Gainesville/Hall County businessmen -- longtime principals of Turner, Wood & Smith -- today announced their purchase of the business back from corporate parent Hilb Rogal & Hobbs (HRH). “In the past 15 years as an HRH agency, our business has undergone tremendous growth.
