News Channel Nebraska (NCN) is an independent, in-state network of commercial radio and television stations in eastern Nebraska and Sioux City. Founded by Mike Flood in 1999, the broadcast group now owns and operates 8 radio stations and 7 tv stations. Organized legally as Flood Digital Networks, LLC, the company owns KNEN-LD (Norfolk); KBWF-LD (Sioux City); KMJF-LD (Columbus); KOHA-LD (Omaha); KFDY-LD (Lincoln); KWBE-LD (Beatrice); KMLF-LD (Grand Island); KUSO-FM (Norfolk); KNEN-FM (Norfolk); KBBX-FM (Omaha); KNCY-AM (Nebraska City0; KBIE-FM (Nebraska City); KWBE-AM (Beatrice); KGMT-AM (Fairbury); and, KUTT-FM (Fairbury). The English language television stations work together as "News Channel Nebraska" (NCN) and feature hyper-local news, weather, sports and live coverage of high school live sports and other community live events. Broadcasting over-the-air in high definition, the NCN network is also available on DISH Network in the Sioux City DMA, on many cable networks in the state of Nebraska, on-line and available on OTT platforms such as Roku, AppleTV and Amazon Fire. The Spanish language television stations are Telemundo affiliates in the Sioux City, Iowa and Lincoln/Kearney/Hastings, Nebraska DMA. In addition, KBBX-FM is Omaha's and Nebraska's largest Regional Mexican format radio station on air at 97.7 FM and known as Lobo 977.
