Dixon Quick Coupling is committed to being an environmentally responsible manufacturer of quick disconnect coupling products. As part of our commitment to the environment, we are in the process of changing our treatment processes to eradicate all Chromium-6 in conjunction with the international ROHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Standard. After exhaustive research and testing, we have developed a solution that will remove all Hexavalent Chromium (Chromium-6) from our treatment processes, while optimizing the corrosion resistance of our products. Plating for steel products will be converted to Trivalent Chrome, typically silver in color, instead of the current yellow appearance, providing our customers with superior corrosion resistance.
