A new era for the management of South East Queensland’s land and waterways was formally announced on 28 June 2016. The creation of Healthy Waterways and Catchments was a new organisation combining not-for-profit organisations Healthy Waterways and SEQ Catchments. The union of our two organisations strengthens regional efforts to look after the land and waterways of South East Queensland, and protect the many benefits these natural assets underpin such as food and water supply, recreation, tourism and much more. We have now launched our new name, brand and strategic direction and we welcome you to Healthy Land and Water! One complete organisation dedicated to the care and protection of our beautiful land, waterways and biodiversity. Learn more about what we do and who we are by visiting our website hlw.org.au.
