YWCA Greater Green Bay is a non-profit human services agency dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. For 100 years, the YWCA has been committed to improving the quality of life for everyone in our community, especially women, children, and families in need or in crisis. YWCA operates several programs that provide valuable services to our community. The Women's Career Closet serves economically disadvantaged women with free work-appropriate clothing. TechGYRLS is an after school program launched in November 2009 for middle school girls with an existing interest in STEM areas (science, technology, engineering and math). YWCA Greater Green Bay serves women and children through a variety of programs focused on women's empowerment and youth development, particularly for those who are at-risk, low-income or in need. YWCA also supports the health and well-being of women and children with a Health & Fitness Training Center and two 88-degree pools that accommodate all ages and abilities and classes of all types.
