About
After a six-year journey of meticulous restoration and refurbishment, Heckfield Place’s exquisite Georgian manor house, which first became a home in 1785, is being transformed into an idyllic country retreat — the perfect synthesis of nature, culture and refined luxury. At the heart of our vision for Heckfield Place is a desire for guests to experience the run of a great English estate — where the grace and grandeur of the past blend seamlessly with the style and comfort of contemporary hospitality. Set within 400 acres of Hampshire countryside, there are shaded glades and riverside pathways to explore, meadows carpeted with wild flowers, and an ornamental walled garden planted with time-honoured English classics. Guests can spend a lazy afternoon relaxing by the lakes with a picnic hamper, curl up by the fire in the Stables Bar, meander through one of England’s oldest arboretums or drop by The Bothy for a spa treatment. Hard to believe this is all less than an hour’s drive from central London. Nature, the seasons, a love of the land and a profound harmony with our natural legacy… these are the intrinsic values of Heckfield Place. That’s why our gastronomic philosophy is all about local, honest and seasonal food. Whether it’s milk from the estate’s working farm, fresh vegetables grown in our kitchen garden or wild berries foraged from our hedgerows, the estate’s gardeners work hand in hand with the kitchen to create world-class cuisine that makes the very best of the natural bounty on offer at Heckfield Place. Heckfield Place will open in 2017. Luxury hotel, Hospitality, Travel, Leisure
