Started in 1969, SpringHill offers a distinctive camping experience for kids and teens. Creative housing, exciting activities, and scriptural teaching are the basis that we are built on. Originally known as SpringHill Farms, a Shetland Pony Farm, the property was a recreational get away for Collie and Pearl Decker. Mr. Decker dreamed of developing the 515 acres into a boys' camp. After Mr. Decker's untimely death, Mrs. Decker decided to sell the property with a desire to fulfill her husband's dream, which led to the beginning of SpringHill Camp. Enoch Olson was the first camp director. Amidst much excitement, 250 campers came that first summer. Through the years, there has been much development and growth. Programs have been added, including the Day Camps, which can bring the SpringHill experience right to your hometown. In 1999, another SpringHill location was added in southern Indiana. With 730 acres, SpringHill Indiana can further advance the vision that makes SpringHill Camps successful. Now, each year, over 14,000 children and teens are told the gospel through fun activities and a great time.
