About
OUR MISSION: STRENGTHENING COLORADO COMMUNITIES ONE FAMILY AT A TIME. Griffith Centers for Children began in 1927 in Denver, Colorado. Our founder, Miss Emily Griffith, was a respected educator who believed that every child deserves positive experiences and opportunities that prepare that child to live a productive life. She began by taking orphaned and delinquent boys into her home, and then, with the help of the Kiwanis Club of Denver, built the first "Emily Griffith Home for Boys."? For Over 90 years, Griffith Centers for Children, CHINS UP has been strengthening Colorado communities one family at a time. Based along Colorado's spectacular Front Range Griffith Centers for Children, CHINS UP serves 1,500 children and families a week through community and residential based programs. With a wide array of services and programs The Griffith Centers for Children, CHINS UP provides day treatment, education, family preservation, counseling services, foster care, shared family care, respite services, adoption, group homes, residential treatment, and independent living services. Today we are able to provide healing and hope to thousands. Learn more @ www.griffithcenters.org
