We partner with employers and organisations to create meaningful employment for all; adding value to the lives of people, their families and communities QITE is represented across Far North Queensland through 80 dedicated staff and a Board of management made up of community and business leaders. As a modern and enterprising organisation, QITE plays a significant leadership role in regional, economic, workforce and community development. Our Mission is to drive meaningful employment opportunities utilising the best available techniques to improve the prosperity of jobseekers, employers and communities. QITE is one of the largest providers of employment and training services in the region. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and a Public Benevolent Institution with Charitable status. We offer accredited and non-accredited training in partnership with several RTOs, and all service delivery sits within a Quality Management System that complies with ISO 9001:2008. Q.I.T.E. provides community-based solutions through a number of wholly owned enterprises. These business units have evolved in response to needs that have been identified in the communities that QITE operates and QT's Early Learning Centre, Q.I.T.E.'s Passenger Transport Service are two of the services we offer. Q.I.T.E. offers a Disability Employment Services contract and a fee for service for Labour Hire which can assist employers with finding staff. Additionally our Harvest Labour Service recruits and places workers in harvest jobs, mobilising job seekers from locations outside harvest areas to meet the labour needs of growers across the Tablelands.
