Miami Seaquarium is a family-oriented marine-life park open to the public 365 days a year. The park provides visitors with a greater understanding and appreciation for marine life through shows, presentations and marine-life exhibits. Since it's opening in 1955, the park has maintained a commitment to entertainment, education, wildlife conservation and community involvement. Miami Seaquarium has rescued, rehabilitated and released countless manatees, sea turtles, dolphins and whales throughout its History and is one of only three manatee rehabilitation facilities in Florida. Miami Seaquarium is an accredited member of the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums, an international organization committed to the care and conservation of marine mammals.
