Since May 1985, the Brazos Valley Food Bank has been the core of a network of hunger-relief organizations serving the hungry in Brazos Valley. The Food Bank recovers food and grocery product from grocers, USDA and individuals. From 1999 – present, it has increased food distribution from 709,414 to just under 4 million pounds.
