The Arab American Association of New York (AAANY) is a non-profit grassroots organization located in Brooklyn, NY, whose mission is to support and empower the Arab immigrant community by providing services to help them adjust to their new home and become active members of society. Our aim is for families to achieve the ultimate goals of independence, productivity, and stability. Since the Association’s founding in December 2001, we have served over 9,000 individuals, over 70% of them women and children, and the overwhelming majority low-income families, providing invaluable assistance. AAANY works to assist in making the transition into American society as fluid as possible for the Arab community.
