Fox Filmed Entertainment (FFE) is one of the world's top producers and distributors of motion pictures, including such hits as Cast Away (with DreamWorks) and Planet of the Apes. Its Twentieth Century Fox division produces movies for mainstream audiences, while its Fox Searchlight Pictures produces more art house type fare such as Sexy Beast. Its Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment division handles videos and DVDs. The firm also has an agreement to release films with partner New Regency. The company releases 20-25 films a year. FFE is part of Fox Entertainment Group, which is a unit of News Corp. FFE accounts for about 26% of News Corp.'s sales.
