About
For over 25 years, HopeNet has been serving the Wichita community, first as a resource to mothers who were dealing with a pregnancy they did not plan, then providing a network of community support and training for the mothers and their families, and finally providing coaching, counseling and Christian care to anyone who needs help. Our goal has always been to provide a net of support for those who feel vulnerable and to give hope to those who need it most. From the very beginning, we chose to be in the heart of Wichita. We wanted to be available to clients whether they were on the eastside, westside or downtown. Our location is on a direct bus route and within walking distance of forty percent of those utilizing our sliding scale. In 2013, we were able to purchase our building and completed an extensive remodel in 2015, recommitting to stay accessible. HopeNet is a 501(c)3 non-profit. We do not take insurance or government money, and our sliding scale for services is provided by our generous donors. Initial intake appointments and Resources Coaching sessions are always free. Our coaches are licensed Social Workers or are credentialed by the International Coaching Federation. Our therapists are all licensed by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory board and many are trained in EMDR. We are committed to providing professional and comprehensive services to restore hope and dignity.
