About
The Catawba Island Club, conceived by Jim Stouffer Sr., in the fall of 1967 has evolved to become one of the finest clubs on the Great Lakes. Renowned for its natural beauty, CIC is nestled into a quiet section of the Western Basin of Lake Erie only an hour's drive from Cleveland and Toledo and a two-hour trip from Columbus or Detroit. The Club provides a variety of recreational offerings from boating, fitness, golf, and tennis, to dining, entertainment and endless children's activities. Generations of families have come to the shores of Lake Erie to renew and create their fondest memories at CIC, "Your home away from home." In addition to its 320-slip marina with direct access to Lake Erie and the islands, CIC offers two outdoor heated pools, an Arthur Hills 18-Hole Championship Golf Course, new clay Har-True tennis courts, a health and fitness center, and a full marine service and winter storage facility. Varied dining experiences overlook the lakeshore, golf course and swimming pool complex providing a breathtaking panorama in all seasons. Hotel rooms provide pleasant surroundings for weekend stays and business retreats. Private rooms of various sizes can accomodate parties, family celebrations, and a variety of business meetings.
