About
Efforts to fight modern slavery are fragmented, siloed, and small-scale. That's where GFEMS comes in. We are an innovative international fund forging public-private partnerships to develop new, scalable, sustainable approaches to ending modern slavery. We approach modern slavery with a systems view; by reducing the supply of vulnerable individuals, shifting demand to favor ethical over exploitative practices, and ending impunity by tackling the enabling environment for slavery. We develop coherent sector strategies, designed to be scaled locally, regionally, and globally. Our role is to ensure solutions and stakeholders are working together as we address this issue and the systems that perpetuate it.
