The Federation of American Hospitals (FAH), founded in 1966, is the national representative of investor-owned or managed community hospitals and health systems throughout the United States and one of Washington, DC's most respected and influential health policy and advocacy organizations. Dedicated to a market-based philosophy, we provide representation and advocacy on behalf of our members to Congress, the Executive Branch, the judiciary, media, academia, accrediting organizations and the public. The Federation of American Hospitals serves its members as a clearinghouse for information about the nation's most vital health policy issues.
