Strong Women, Strong Girls (SWSG) works to make sure every girl realizes her inner strengths to dream and do. Our organization empowers girls in under-resourced communities to imagine a broader future through a curriculum grounded on female role models, delivered by college women, who are themselves mentored by professional women. With locations in both Boston and Pittsburgh, we partner with schools and after-school providers, and 12 colleges and universities; impacting over 1400 3rd through 5th grade girls and close to 500 college women. We believe in a cycle of mutual empowerment, connecting women and girls at different stages in their lives, so that they not only learn from, but grow with each other.
