About
Double Helix's breakthrough 3D nano-scale imaging dramatically extends the precision and accuracy limitations of current 3D imaging technology. Precision and Accuracy. Our technology is already accelerating disease and drug discovery in life sciences labs. The possibilities are endless. We developed our technology to provide a modular solution that makes precision 3D nano-scale imaging accessible, easy to use, and affordable to every lab. We created a simple, adaptable system based on our patented phase mask technique integrated into a high precision optical module with powerful software that will affordably extend your imaging capabilities to sub-diffraction 3D imaging. What Is It? The SPINDLE™ has been designed from the ground up to integrate with your existing microscope. Compact in size and optimized for every emission wavelength, the SPINDLE™ attaches directly between your camera and microscope using standard C-mounts. No adjustment to your existing set up is required for operation. The imaging software has been optimized for processing and analyzing captured images to provide detailed 3D information and full structure datasets for analysis. Each part of the SPINDLE™ has been designed and engineered by the Double Helix team. How It Works The Double Helix SPINDLE™ uses Double Helix’s patented Point Spread Function engineering to capture localization information in 3D, leveraging existing microscopes and cameras. Using proprietary algorithms the information delivered by the rotating lobes is converted into three-dimensional particle localization information providing sample measurement with the highest precision – depth of field combination.
