opcare is one of the largest providers of prosthetic and orthotic services to the NHS in the UK with over 70,000 patients.Working in partnership with the NHS in locations throughout the UK. opcare was founded in 1989, and now has over 250 employees. Our services involve the design, manufacture and fitting of artificial limbs (prostheses) to over 25% of NHS users of prosthetics - more than 15,000 people. In the orthotics service, our orthotists prescribe 'orthotics' - orthopaedic appliances used to support, align, prevent, or correct posture or to improve the function of the body.
